For over twenty years, I served under the American flag. From Europe to some of the most remote corners of the world, many of my missions brought me back to Africa, including a year-long deployment with the United Nations in Mali. It’s as if the Motherland kept calling me home.

Just over two years ago, I answered that call. I made the life-changing decision to return to Senegal, the land of my birth, the soil of my ancestors. But this wasn’t just about coming back. I came with purpose. With a vision.

I wanted my return to mean something. To matter. I was driven by a simple but powerful conviction: That I could make a difference. That I could build something meaningful, something that connects people, fosters talent, and creates bridges between local potential and global opportunity. Something real. That’s how Sahel Plus Logistics and Services was born.

I knew the journey wouldn’t be easy. Transitioning from a life of service in the military to building an enterprise back home demanded resilience, patience, and vision. But the lessons I carried with me—discipline, leadership, and the ability to adapt under pressure—became my foundation. They reminded me that every challenge is an opportunity, and every obstacle a chance to prove that we can rise higher.

This company is more than just a business. It’s a bridge between people, between ideas, between continents. It’s the embodiment of a belief I’ve always held close: Strength lies in unity.

Senegal, like much of Africa, is rich in human potential, untapped resources, and underestimated brilliance. Through Sahel Plus Logistics and Services, I set out to build a platform to nurture that energy, structure it, support it and most of all, help it shine.
